Did you ever consider preservatives might prevent you from starving to death?

Here's my best reason for being stranded.

I didn't say Gilligans Island. I said a deserted island. And preservatives keep a person from living a long healthy life. MSG is very unhealthy and many preservatives have MSG. Fresh fish and coconuts and bananas are things that can keep a person healthy. Think I'm kidding? Take a look.

I don't think you're 'kidding'. You're wrong. MSG is not a preservative. It's a flavor enhancer. You may not want to eat it. I don't. I have always had a reaction to high levels of MSG. But if you are stranded on a desert island and have no source of food then a stash of preserved foods will save your life. I don't expect you to believe this because no politically correct website made by do-gooding liberals will tell you this.

What I should have said is MSG is used with many preservatives is bad for you. Indirectly, MSG has been shown in lab tests to downregulate hypothalamic appetite suppression. Which means; aside from a flavor enhancer, it makes you hungry again, and that is where the trap is. It's used in fast food allot so to make you want to buy more fast food.

I understand what you mean about a deserted island that has nothing to eat. But it doesn't matter. If you're on an island with nothing to eat, then you're not gonna get even food with preservatives, unless you bring it with you.
