I have a question about two particular cases that share a common thread. They are Russell/Jean Johnson and unfortunately I can't remember the specific details but it had to do with a nun who saved someone's life and then disappeared. She was dressed like someone from the 1800's. You guys know what I'm talking about…lol

Anyway my question is with both cases they mentioned that they looked all around and couldn't find the mysterious person to thank them. Do you think they made an honest effort to look? Russell and Jean said they went to the back of the house and he wasn't there. We are taking their word that they took a straight path and were quick about it. Did they spend 15 minutes looking for him or 5 seconds? We don't know.

Do you really in your heart believe he disappeared?

I think that in the Davidson case, those who saw the woman did search around and there was nowhere she could have gone since it was on a highway with little around it (if I recall correctly). That one weirds me out because half the people saw her and half didn't. It could be a lie, sure, but then some of the bystanders had to be in on it.

As for Russell and Jean Johnson, I think the kind letter sender was very much a human being. The man probably went off in the opposite direction than he started in or hitched a ride before they went out to the deck to wave goodbye to him. It may have seemed like he disappeared, but I bet there's a logical explanation here. I think the Johnsons were telling the truth, but to them it may have seemed like he vanished. They also probably did not spend too long looking for him once they realized he wasn't in sight.

The Russell & Jean Johnson is one of my favorite stories. I believe he did exist and as wishful dreamer mentioned, he probably just took off in another direction.

It's nice that a simple gesture like giving him a sandwich was rewarded in such a generous way. Most ppl would ignore him or shoo him off if a man who appeared homeless approached their house

As for the other story.. I like it but I'm kinda iffy about it... It's just weird how some ppl saw her & others didn't. I tend to believe he's alive due to medicine and not a supernatural occurrence

The guy who was knocked by lightning off his motorcycle into a ditch or something. The lady in black insisted on touching him--some people saw her and some didn't. He found an outfit like hers in a museum, worn by members of a religious colony in the area 100 or more years prior. I believe the town was in Southern Indiana and may have started with an H. I remember having to find it on a map for my dad, who had lived in that part of the state and wanted to know if the area was familiar to him, but it didn't seem to be.
