i'm down with that.

this weekend is crazy for me though - a couple of weeks ago my sister-in-law casually asked me if I could bring a dish to their parents anniversary party.

...and then I find out on Friday that it is actually their 50th anniversary and that little side dish I offered to bring has to be two full trays to feed 150 people. So I am making a loaded baked potato casserole - 24 pounds of potatoes peeled, cooked, and mashed over yesterday and today.

I did go to the mall yesterday to do some Christmas shopping, which was indeed rather stressful and crazy but fun as always.

My family decided that we're not doing Christmas presents this year. I can't really say that I mind.

I too went to the mall yesterday and enjoyed the Christmas lights everywhere. Such a cozy time of year.

Also one of the stores had this large bear sitting in the window, which amused me greatly.
