Default Back to the Future IV---------->

I am not talking about the Spin City episode with Chris Lloyd. I am referring to the actual movie. It has been said repeatedly that Back to the Future 4 is never going to happen. Bob Zemeckis said it, and so did Bob Gale, as well as the cast members. But since Disney bought Star Wars and made an episode 7, which Lucas said after episode 3 he was done with the series, I was thinking that someone may buy BTTF and make a #4. It is possible. I am crossing my fingers.

I dunno if we'll ever actually see another movie, but the video game very much feels like another Back To The Future movie if you just watch it on Youtube. It's really good.

The Back to the Future video games are probably the closest that we'll come to having a "Back to the Future IV" movie. Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis have said repeatedly that it's not happening and I'm glad they're sticking to their guns on that. I know a lot of fans would enjoy seeing further adventures of Doc Brown and Marty McFly (and believe me, I'm a big BTTF fan myself), but I think the original trilogy is great as it stands and there really isn't any need for another movie. It just wouldn't be the same at this point.
However, just to point out, beyond the movies and the video games, there is also the "Back to the Future" cartoon series and the short-lived comic book series from Harvey Comics based on it, if you want some more stories from the BTTF universe. I wish Universal would get the cartoon series released to DVD.
And if you want to see one of the best BTTF sites online, I highly suggest checking out www.bttf.com

I'm sure you're right, Mac. But if there is a buck in something, Mr Greedy, whoever that may be, is always going to try and make it happen. Lucas asked Mark Hamil in 1983 if he would consider playing an Obi Wan Kenobi type character in a 2011 Star Wars, which would have had to have been an Episode 7. But right after the finish of Episode 3s filming, Lucas stated there would be no more Star Wars Movies. Then comes along Disney and buys the rights to Star Wars, and here we have an episode 7. Oh and, Mark Hamil has returned to play an Obi Wan Kenobi Jedi in ep 7.

Yes, I have heard that story before. I seem to recall Mark Hamill throwing out 2011 as a joke though. But yeah- interesting that it finally happened. From the interview I've read though, it sounds like as long as Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale have a say about it, BTTF IV is not happening.

Doubt it...

BTTF basically ended with Part 3 when the Delorean was destroyed. Michael J. Fox may not be able to have the main role since he has Parkinson's, Christopher Lloyd may be too old for the role, and Lea Thompson is getting there.

BUT...

What things in the movie have happened in 2015 that we use now?

Nike Power lace shoes will be released in 2015 Called the Nike Air Mags

The Hover Board, and Hover vehicles are still in the development stage. We may see a Hover Board in the next few years. But Hover vehicles may be allot longer because the Airline companies will fight hard to keep them from becoming common transportation.

Oh yeah, that's right- I do remember hearing about the Nike Air Mags- pretty cool! Thanks for the picture.
And even if hoverboards really do become a reality, I can't seriously see someone flying across the world on a hoverboard, so I don't think the airlines have to worry about that.
