Post Dish Sucks!!!

I refuse to be held hostage by Dish, they don't want to provide channels I'm paying for then I'm switching over to DirectTV.

Directv is no better. I've honestly thought about just cutting the satellite cord all together and just having an old fashioned antenna in my yard like we used to have.

I'm thinking of getting that clear TV Antenna tv it's supposed to connect to any tv and you receive all local channels at no cost.

I've also been thinking about getting some kind of antenna so I can finally get AntennaTV and Me TV. My luck, because of where I live, I still won't be able to pick them up.

Cut the cord! trust me you WON'T miss it. It would cost me over $1,700.00 a year if I had Cable or Satellite TV today. Yes, every now and then a show pops up that piques my interest, but those shows tend to become available on DVD a few months later. If I wait a few months longer, the show will end up in Uncle Wally's $5.00 Bargain Bin!

I've got Time Warner and I am terrified of what is going to happen if Comcast actually takes it over (although I think that if there was ever a case where the government SHOULD block this type of merger that reinforces a complete and total monopoly over the consumer, then this is the epitome of such)

every time we get one of those Dish flyers, I peruse it and wonder if they would be any better, and then think better when I hear all the customer complaints.

yesterday we had an outage for a couple of hours - lost cable, internet and phone - it was pretty upsetting, but the tech support I received when I called them was even more disturbing.

Yeah, along with Syfy, TBS, Storage Wars, etc. In the end I feel that the local channels would be more important to me. Now thanks to Greedy Dish, I'm going to miss on the I Love Lucy special Sunday night.

I'd trade 200 of the channels that I do get in exchange for Me-TV and Antenna TV. I hate Dish.
