I recently upgraded my cable package to get this channel but they have been airing the show out of rotation especially with season 3 episodes.
They aired about 15 season 3 episodes and the rest of the episodes that were listed as season 3 episodes were from season 1. Does this mean they don't own the rights to the entire series? The sure to air episodes from season 1 every chance they get. I am hoping they air the complete series because I have a feeling they won't be airing the show too long because it had only 3 seasons. |

Yeah, I was confused by that too. They kept switching back and forth between season 3 and season 1. I also noticed that with Barney Miller that after season 3 I think it was, that they started all over again with the beginning of season 1. I hope that doesn't mean they don't have the rights to seasons 4-8.

They sometimes aired different episodes in the afternoon than the ones they aired at night for What's Happening Now Season 3.

Is FamilyNet even worth having? What other shows do they air?

So basically, FamilyNet is no different than Antenna TV or ME-TV? At least WHN is on. I mean remember when Centric put WHN for a day marathon? They only aired season 1 and had way too many commercials. Very disappointing.

227 has this problem too as NBC aired episodes differently from their production order. Some syndication outlets go in production order which has the pilot airing around the 10 episode or so. The pilot was a two parter so you end up watching part two first and have to wait until the other episode airs later. Some thought 'No Place Like Home' was the final episode for 227, it was the FINAL broadcast episode for the series as NBC pulled the series in early 1990 and then aired the graduation episode first and then aired No Place Like Home They did this with A Different World and some syndicators keep the odd order in place.
In case of WHN, my guess is they are probably only airing episodes that people are most likely to watch as the series had some dry episodes |
