Default Did it ever rain on Three's Company?

Can anyone recall? I think it only happened one time, which was the second episode where Chrissy's mother comes to visit and Jack is caught in the rain outside the window.

Otherwise, I cannot recall a single episode when it rained.

Yeah I think that's the only one time too.

Didn't this show take place in Southern California? They say it never rains in Southern California. Seems I've often heard that kinda talk before.

It rained in the Season 7 finale when Jack bought the leather coat. Remember when he gave it to Mr. Furley as a substitute for that month's rent? And remember what happened to the coat in the rain?

if you want to get more technical except for the lone Christmas episode from season 2 they didnt celebrate any other U.S. holiday during its entire run.

Yeah, and it's a shame too because I think they could have been fairly awesome if they came up with a Halloween episode.

Yes! Or maybe a "very special" Thanksgiving episode. Since that's a cooking holiday, I'm surprised we never saw it.

In "The Fast" Janet does mention how Jack went missing over Labor Day weekend, so I guess he was celebrating in his own way.

Thanksgiving episodes would be on a family sitcom, not a sitcom featuring 3 single people living together

One could argue that the trio plus landlords were a type of family. And think of the cooking hijinx Jack could get into. I bet they'd all end up at the Regal Beagle eating tuna salad sandwiches.

And when it came to birthday episodes only Jack, Janet and Chrissy each an episode devoted to them

Janet (Roper's Niece)
Chrissy (The Gift)
Jack (Coffee, Tea Or Jack)

There weren't any birthday episodes for Cindy or Terri.

The only recurring special occasion we see celebrated is the Roper's anniversary in the first three seasons when they were still there.
