TNT Renews "Legends" for 2nd Season
"Legends" Renewed for Second Season by TNT
by Nellie Andreeva December 4, 2014 TNT has given a 10-episode second-season pickup to freshman drama series "Legends", meaning that the new TNT dramas that debuted this past summer, "The Last Ship", "Murder in the First" and "Legends" all have been renewed for Season 2. The Howard Gordon-produced "Legends" had the smallest Live+same day premiere audience of the three, opening with 2.6 million viewers in August. But the David Semel-directed pilot had been available on multi-platforms for a week prior to its premiere. Ultimately, more than 8 million viewers watched the "Legends" premiere live, through DVRs, VOD, digital on-demand and a pair of Saturday encores. Over the entire season, "Legends" averaged 3.2 million viewers in Live + 7. When viewing across multiple platforms is factored in, the show’s audience jumps to 6.5 million viewers. Based on the book by Robert Littell, "Legends", from Fox 21, focuses on the work and life of the Martin Odum (Sean Bean). An undercover agent for the FBI’s Deep Cover Operations division, Odum has the ability to develop a new identity for each assignment. I hear that there could be some supporting cast changes going into Season 2. http://deadline.com/2014/12/legends-...nt-1201307306/ |
