Anyone like the spinoffs Joanie Loves Chachi and Laverne and Shirley?
I thought they were both great shows. I even think Happy Days was a great show in which all those characters were on. I began a petition to bring Happy Days to DVD and VHS. If anyone wants to sign it they can. The link is below.

I loved Happy Days, until the later years when they brought in a bunch of new characters that I cared little about.
I also loved Laverne & Shirley. I couldn't stand Joanie Loves Chachi. The characters were great on Happy Days, but left me quite flat in their own show.

Happy Days was one of the greatest shows in tv history.
I really loved Laverne & Shirley wheter they were on their own show or on Happy Days,which btw is probably why so many people perfer the Milwaukee years of L&S.  Never saw Joanie Loves Chachie. |

L&S was darn funny stuff, but JLC blew. I think JLC was just too much love and mush in one show. It was better when they were the love and mush portion of Happy Days. =)

I agree. Laverne & Shirley is the BEST show (well, right behind Happy Days anyway). Agree again--Milwaukee WAS the best place...when they went to Burbank it wasnt as funny- except for the *Dating Game* episode lol one of the FUNNIEST!!
Yeah, Ive never seen Joanie Loves Chachi- and quite frankly dont wish to--well maybe just one episode to see what its like. But, I hate Chachi to no end, so it would pointless! lol Nothing against Scott Baio though...

Laverne & Shirley ROCKS!
Of course, I like the sitcom Laverne & Shirley. But who wouldn't. j/k. It is one of my favorite shows and perhaps ONE of the greatest sitcoms around. I love the milwaukie years of the show a tad bit better . . . I don't know. I guess some of chemistry slipped a little in the california years. Anyways, I love Laverne & Shirley!
Btw, I haven't seen Joanie Loves Chachi. But from reading all of these reviews about the show I think it is best not to see it. |

I got a response from Columbia House Canada today via email. Here is what they said:
