I wasn't even aware there was a problem with some of the discs. I guess when I get around to buying the set, I'll email WB about getting new discs. I hope they still have some left then. |

Got this email from them today:
We are pleased to notify you that your replacement discs for Batman: The Complete Television Series set – Blu-Ray and/or DVD – are in the mail. For Blu-Ray, you will receive discs 1 and 5; for DVD, discs 1 and 8. For Batman: The Complete Television Series Season One set, you will receive disc 1. I re-watched the opening of the pilot episode, "Hi Diddle Riddle," and there was some voiceover narration by William Dozier not present on the original blu-ray or any of the reruns I've ever seen.
Here's a question: Was this dialogue on the original telecast? I was always under the impression that it was in one of the test versions that scored badly with preview audiences and removed. |
