This is the FIRST and ONLY time they ever show or speak of Mike's 1st wife and biological mother to the Brady boys. Evidently she passed away for reasons not mentioned. What was her first name? Who was the actress they used of photo of? Does anyone know? |

I asked that same question a couple of years ago and noone knew the answer. She was never mentioned after the Wedding episode, and her name was never revealed. I never even found out who the actress was in the picture.

She looks a little like Maureen O'Hara and Michele Lee.

In the Very Brady Sequel Movie, it was Jeannie (Barbara Eden).

I know it isn't her, but the woman in the picture looks a little like Sue Randall.

yea, it does. (for those who don't know, Sue Randall was Beavers teacher on LEAVE IT TO BEAVER)
I read somewhere once that it was Joyce Bullifant but it's obviously not. |

Wasn't Joyce Bullifant originally going to play Carol before they cast Florence Henderson? I'm sure I read that somewhere.

I found this on Wiki
Bulifant, who has been described as "naturally funny", was the original choice for the role of Carol Brady on ABC's The Brady Bunch, but the part ultimately went to Florence Henderson. |

The person in the photo looks familiar but I couldn't say for sure who it is.
I could be wrong, but it seems to me the whole idea of the blended family really was not explored much beyond the first season. After that they pretty much seemed like any family who had always been together. I'm glad they did not dwell on it that much. |
