Do you buy TV shows, season by season? Or buy them full box set. I buy them one season at a time. But my sister prefers the box sets to save time. I can watch a season of a show in 1 to 2 days, usually I do this on the weekends. and if I feel like it, I'll go to ebay and order another season. Unless my sister has the same shows I like, then I might borrow her box sets if she lets me.

Whatever is released first, that's what I buy unless the complete series is way too expensive, (like "The Wonder Years") then I buy the individual seasons.
However, when "Mama's Family" was released I bought the complete series set because of how much I love the show. I already own seasons 1-5 of "Mister Ed" but I will buy the complete series when it's released because they went back and fixed the edited season 1 episodes and because it's another of my favorite sitcoms. |

I noticed Bewitched the Complete series is at Amazon right now for only $28.99, that's a deal.

I prefer Box Sets. I don't like having to resort to ioffer.com or sell.com because a series I bought season-by-season got "abandoned".

That's a great deal for Gilligans Island. I have had my box set for awhile now and gonna need to replace it soon as it is wearing out from handling.

The only box set I have is Sanford and Son. I got for $25 at WalMart about two years back and it's great. All my other DVDs are individual seasons. I just sold my Facts of Life Season DVDs back in September and plan to get this new complete series box set. I'm also thinking about getting the complete Andy Griffith box set, but I'm a little hesitant because I read some bad reviews about it having scratched and damaged discs. Has anyone on here that has that set ever had those issues with it?

Personally I prefer season by season. I had a lot of fun collecting my fav shows and then resorting to TVShowsonDVD to see when the next season was gonna be released. That was 11 years ago now, I feel old. Hehe

You're more likely to get "extras" with complete boxed sets. I like boxed sets that are easy to store. I dont like big bulky sets, like I Love Lucy. I also don't like cheap packaging like The Andy Griffith Show and Hogan's Heroes.
