I was at my parents on Thanksgiving and my dad said that AITF is a much better sitcom than Maude and The Jeffersons combined.

I agree...AITF was Norman Lear's epic show and even though he made it well with other sitcoms...it seems that it can't hold a candle to AITF.

Agree or no?

In my opinion, The Jeffersons sustained much longer than AITF or Maude. I don't recall Maude all that much. AITF was a great show for the first 3 or 4 seasons, but after Mike & Gloria moved next door, it sort of lost its punch. The Jeffersons was still good even up to the 11th and final season.

Out of the three, it is my opinion that The Jeffersons was the better sitcom. It was much more light hearted than All in the Family. AIITF and Maude were great, just not as great as The Jeffersons IMO.

I like all three of them but I too prefer The Jeffersons over the other two.
