Default Why did Jack have to be so bothered by a review of ONE FOOD CRITIC? lol

He comes home depressed because the man walks out after eating 2 bites and assumed he would get a bad review. Why not just wait for the review to be published first before overreacting? lol

And did he think the entire city would see Mr. Townsend's review? I swear this episode was so dumb lol

And as a Restaurant owner why wouldn't Jack just wait for the review and if it was bad just fire the cook? He was a business owner and still had no manly qualities lol

By the way, Terri was on drugs in this episode

Why would she snatch the letter out of Townsend's hand at the end when the whole point of them going down there was to sneakily get the letter from him like it was never delievered? LOL

she was Chrissy Alden in this ep lol

Yes, she should have warned him so he wouldn't have said: "I didn't mean a word of that" when he was talking to Patrick Townshend. Also, if he knew Janet had altered the letter, he never would have tried to steal the mail.

But Jack was going to take the fall for the bad review and he was not the chef LOL

Yeah, I know. I posted that message in the wrong place. Sorry about that. I made a new thread about it instead.

Its funny how now as an adult I can see how ridiculous the writing on the show was but when I was a kid watching reruns it would all go over my head and I'd just laugh.

Exactly, he had no personality to be a boss like Angelino anytime he was going to take the fall for food he didn't make LOL

I guess Jack felt more worried that his restaurant getting a bad review since the place was named after him.

...doesn't matter...it's Jack's recipe, and he's the one who trained the chef who did cook the meal.

Being that it was Jack's first restaurant he didn't know any better and was scared having to fail as restaurant owner and going back working for Angelino.

But yeah Jack did act pretty clueless especially by taking the dinner plate from the other customer patron and giving it to Townsend
