Default Top five episodes?

Okay, it's your personal marathon. What makes the cut and why? Because they're funny? You have good memories attached to episode?

Mine are (random order):

1. Best Laid Plans (mouse in the house, season 3)
2. The Bake-Off (pie contest, S. 3)
3. Baby Makes Two (Chrissy and Jack think Janet's advertising for a baby-daddy)
4. The Fast (the trio bets who has more willpower, S 3)
5. Grandma Jack (Jack enters cooking contest as Grandma Tripper, S 8)

To me, these are so funny (my list changes all the time). But Best Laid Plans and The Bake-Off were the first two episodes that I saw as an adult and hooked me.

5. Up In The Air (Season 6)
4. Downhill Chaser (Season 5)
3. A Camping We Will Go (Season 4)
2. Roper's Car (Season 2)
1. Home Movies (Season 2)

And nope, I don't feel like including episode descriptions.

Those shows aren't always the funniest, but something about them stands out for me.

Home Movies is the best example to me of how early on the show wasn't that dumb and kind of intelligent at times. Any episode of television that mentions Eisenstein isn't for dummies.

This reminds me of the episode (I think it was Janet's Promotion in season 2) where Chrissy mentions Lucrezia Borgia. That was a lol moment for me because it came out of the blue and it was, well, Chrissy saying it. I'd love to think Chrissy had been reading up on Renaissance papal corruption.

I just watched Home Movies the other night. I like that episode a lot, especially when Mrs. Roper tells Mr. Roper to "Go...fix your window." Only she lingers on the "f," so it sounds like she's about to tell him something else.

I've been wanting to compile lists for my top 5 episodes for several sitcoms. I'm not sure what 2-4 would be (as of now, I'll come back and edit later) but my favorite is "Days of Beer and Weeds".

1. Up in the Air (Season 6 )
2. Some of that Jazz (Season 6)
3. Critic's Choice (Season 6)
4. Grandma Jack (Season 8)
5. Upstairs, Downstairs, Upstairs (Season 5)

I haven't watched Three's Company for awhile now, but these are the five that stand out the most in mind. Mostly Jack heavy episodes that showcase John Ritter's amazing comedic talent. Just thinking of these five make me smile and then there's Some of that Jazz which shows Jack's big heart. I still get choked up from that last scene between him and Janet.

I think "Strange Bedfellows" (Season 2) would have to be number 6 on my list. Remember Mr. Roper saying to Jack he's so ashamed because he thought he slept with Jack? Then later on when they found out they he and Jack just performed an "I'm a little teapot" sketch, it was funny how Jack then said "I'm so ashamed!" to mock Roper.

Here's my list:

5. The Money Machine (Season 8)
4. A Camping We Will Go (Season 4)
3. Strange Bedfellows (Season 2)
2. Up In The Air (Season 6)
1. The Bake Off (Season 3)

I think that each season of the show has that one episode that stands out from the rest. Not sure why I think that way though, since every episode is great!

Good list! The Money Machine is great too. Mostly because of Anne Ramsey and the Dog viciously protecting the old couch.

This was an extremely difficult list as I had to decide whether the story or the gags were what made the episodes stand out, here they are in random order:

Jack's Navy Pal (Jacks old navy rival comes by only to ruin the Roper's dinner)
Secret Admirer (Chrissy gets a visit from a nerdy office coworker)
The Not So Great Imposter (Jack poses as someone else to get hired at Angelino's)
Double Trouble (Jack poses as his imaginary twin brother to fool Furley)
Two Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (Jack and Janet mistake Terri's friend for a mental patient)
