This program has become annoying and pretentious.

This show has gone downhill this season, and this was the second or third time I just lost interest in the whole story and turned it off.

It is hard to pinpoint why this season to me is crappy. I can say that just about all the characters are snarky and snippy. There really isn't anyone that I can choose of the lot that I really like, I do not dislike any of them or the actors, but I like characters that I would like if they were real people.

They turned Phil into a "dumb dad". That Thanksgiving episode with him and cooking was just painful to see. Then there is the Manny and Haley story where Manny accidentally touched her on her girly part and she freaks out and acts a fool. I like Manny, but he acts like a little adult and he also snarks at everyone else. Gloria, I don't get the love for her or her character. People loved Charo and the chick with the fruit basket on her head.

What does Gloria do all day? She has some weird young man babysitting the kid, why? Gloria doesnt work, doesnt cook for the house (because Jay doesnt like the cooking), doesnt clean or anything. Personally, I believe in women's rights, and they do not have to be domestics. But she is a coal digger. And what is up with the male nanny anyway? What a worthless character he is. Oh what the hell, the whole family plus him

Alex is snooty in her intellectualism. She is also the head of the snarkies Lily is a brat. I mean, isn't this portrayal sort of negative for homosexuals who have or want children? I love children, but a child like her makes me think otherwise. Like I said, this is a character.

Jay seems at this point to be slightly annoyed at the bunch and did not want to be around them for Thanksgiving (because he has to do a Christmas episode with these spoiled, snarky people who spit out witty passive aggressive one liners to each other.

Where is Stella the dog?

I dont know, but I am getting tired of the snark and the lack of humor this show once had. They are turning into people I dislike, rich jerky snobs!

Sorry to ramble, but this show is getting on my nerves and wish they would bring back Mike and Molly (overweight struggling couple living in a house with an old party mom, pothead sister, and Vince, that is a damn Modern Family!).
