help me identify! sitcom which shows in the opening - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I am searching for the sitcom which opens with a family (or maybe only kids) playing football on the lawn. I think the mother is Italian or with an Italian accent (maybe NY), I think she had reddish hair, she sure wasn't the quiet type.

If anyone knows, I will be forever grateful!

Me, too. And Valerie Hogan's maiden name was Verrone, and she grew up in Jersey City, right across from New York.
