Without a doubt, Lara Parker, Angelique. At some point she played a 'good' character, but she will always be Angelique.

Dark Shadows was a great program. I enjoyed re-watching it on Sci-Fi 15 or so years ago.
I neglected to mention the great part played by the late Jonathan Frid. Who could forget Barnabas? |

Damn, I really can't believe it's been that long ago. That's how I got into Dark Shadows was watching the morning reruns at 8 AM. I was so grateful MPI released the show on DVD so I could finish the series since Sci-Fi pulled it before the ending could air during their last cycle run. It's nice having the whole series on DVD to watch at any time. My favorites: Barnabas Angelique Carolyn Laura Roger Judith Magda Kitty Quentin |

They're all great and it's hard to choose. Some who have touched me for various reasons.
Willie Loomis-funny when he's Barnabas' well I guess slave Thayer David-so versatile and talented. Louis Edmonds and Joan Bennet- major hams Evil Barnabas- hoping he gets his Carolyn, Maggie, Vickie, Laura- 60s era hotties I like the bit players and fillins. Reading about their careers. Funny many bit players did scant work other than DS. |

Buzz Hackett was cool as was Nicholas Blair (really liked Nick's one gray suit).
And who could ever forget the lovely Daphne or the convivial Bob-the-Bartender, owner of the Blue Whale? So many great Dark Shadows characters! s |

Mine are Barnabas, Quentin, Angelique, and Dr. Julia Hoffman.
By the way, I'm a newcomer to Dark Shadows (I started watching a few months ago and am currently on the Leviathan storyline), and I'm enjoying it immensely. Is it perfect? No, not by a long shot. But it's intriguing, creepy, fun, and charming. And that's coming from someone who, as a general rule, does not like soap operas. |

I'm in the count petofi's hand part. It's a great show. I never watched when I was a kid. I started at 200 when Barnabas arrived. Some day I will check out the beginning first 200 episodes. Favorite characters change for me but I like evil Barnabas and Victoria winters. |

Oh yes, that was a good one. I really liked Thayer David as the count and Grayson Hall as Magda, both very versatile actors. I started when Barnabas arrived too, although it wasn't intentional. After getting Hulu (which is where I first started watching the show before switching to Amazon Video), my dad urged me to see if it had DS. He'd been one of those kids who rushed home from school to watch it on TV, and he wanted me to check it out. When I searched for it, the episode that introduced Barnabas was the first to show up. I did go back to the beginning at one point and watch a few of the early episodes, and they were alright, but by then I was used to Barnabas and wanted to follow his story. They change for me as well, but Barnabas has been a constant.
