Why does TV Land skip episodes? It seems like they play a certain number of episodes in order for a while and then they will skip one here and there. If you look on the schedule for TV Land's ILL shows for the next few weeks, it looks like they will be skipping most of the fourth season and into the fifth season. What's up with that?

Wish I knew. It's stupid and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. They do it with EVERY show. It's annoying.

Maybe they think those episodes they skip are to "controversial"

It really is annoying though. I wish they would stop.

I don't get the American TV Land station. What episodes have they skipped that could be considered contraversial?

That's sad! TVland is doing the same thing with Laverne and Shirley! I hate it!

if you look on TV Land's website under "Write to Us", it says that some episodes of some shows they can only show a certain number of times, and I've noticed that a lot of the episodes of Lucy that they've skipped have been somewhat popular episodes. So that may or may not be the reason. Also, they did skip most of the fourth season, but i noticed on the schedule that they are getting ready to start the California episodes over again, so maybe they just waited to show all the California episodes at once!

yeah it stinks!!

I wish they would stop it :P. One time i was away for the weekend for a horse show, and i had tvland access.. and i came back in from showing, and they had the florida trip episodes.. but yet they were on the hollywood trip ones earlier i thought i had lost my mind! LOL
