The actor's name is Sam McMurray, and he has been a character actor on multitudes of TV shows since the late 1970's.

He was also Hi's boss in the movie "Raising Arizona". His character and I have the same name, Glen(n). Pretty funny when he smacked into a tree. The character's wife was Frances McDormand who was the lead in "Fargo".

Surprised to hear now that he is from New York. Swear he was a southern boy. He's got the redneck, Texas accent down pat.

Yep I've seen that guy on many TV shows and movies, he was also Herman Munster in one of the made for TV Munster movies from the 90's.

He is a character actor.

My definition of character actor "Is someone who is in a lot of movies and television, and the audience is familiar with that person, but few know their name or information about them, although they have been in as much or more projects than their more well known A Listers."

Pretty much describes this guy.

He also played Doug's boss at IPS on some episodes of The King Of Queens. He's been around quite a while.
