Default So Janet and Terri didn't mind if Jack had sex with a FAT GIRL like Berniece but

I bet if she was think and hot they would have never said that this before they left

"We are going to be out LATE, VERY LATE"

LOL. So basically as long as Jack was with a girl he didn't like they was ok with that?

And yes I would have been thankful that Arabella kicked Berniece out LOL

Yes, they were just teasing him. I'm sure they were trying to teach Jack a lesson. They knew Bernice wasn't the kind of woman Jack normally brought home and they wanted to make sure he got to know her. I really don't know what the point was, because it's not like Jack actually hooked up with Bernice. In the end, looks are still going to be what a guy goes for, and the same applied in Jack's case.

Yeah, or remember that time when Nancy sent away Leo in "Old Folks At Home" and Jack thought she was rude for doing so and kicked her out? Wouldn't happen if that was me and Nancy. I would have been like "All right, sounds good, let's get busy".

I'm pretty sure in real life if I was on a date with a hot chick and there was an annoying person in the next room ruining the date, the hot chick wouldn't send away the annoying person, she'd just end the date with me because she was no longer in the mood.

A woman wouldn't be a b**ch in my book for sending away an old man like Leo, I'd think she's awesome because she wants to have fun with me and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. That's something that probably no man ever gets to actually experience in real life. Usually if conditions aren't perfect, women aren't in the mood, and they don't actually put any effort into making them perfect like Nancy did.

plus jack had just tried to be nasty to her and it didn't work so if Arabella was mean and nasty and it worked then what was the problem? Didn't he just try to get Bernice to leave? Lol

Weird jack tripper moment

There is a huge difference. Jack was never mean or nasty to Bernice. Jack was pretending that he was no good. He never once spoke rudely to Bernice. That's the difference. Aribella was a complete bitch and she was very tactless. Her behavior was inconsiderate and shallow. She turned Jack off at that moment because Jack is a compassionate man. I don't think it was a "weird Jack Tripper moment" at all. It was very consistent with Jack's character. Jack may fib at times, but he is never rude to anyone.

This episode is one of the few episodes of "Three's Company" that I didn't care for. Jack liked Arabelled and wanted to make an impression on her by singing to her at her apartment window, but he sang at the wrong apartment and ended up singing to Bernice instead. When Jack realized his mistake he thought he could scare Bernice off. When Arabelle acted very mean to Bernice, Jack saw her true colors and dumped her. I thought that was the right thing to do. He did ended up taking Bernice out, because Jack is a nice person. Arabelle is one of those mean girls who is all fluff, but no substance. I ddin't like the way Janet and Terri came off is this episode either, they were laughing at Jack for dating Bernice. They reminded of the preppy kids at school who always laugh and mocked the unpopular kids.

Bernice was a sweet lady. At the end of the show she even said to Jack, "thanks for that wonderful lie." And then she says "Friends?" Bernice knew that Jack just wanted to be her friend, and that's great. I loved the way Jack stuck up for Bernice. Quite frankly, Jack's considerate and compassionate and sincere actions for Bernice made him even more attractive.

Might be mean, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were true.

Typical men..... they don't realize that the ignorant things they say is actually a turn-off to any woman whether she's fat or thin.

Because she was unattractive and not on their level. That's why I think deep down they had a thing for jack because why was it a issue if he had someone spend the night in HIS ROOM?

So the Fat girl would not have made them insecure about themselves if she was in jack's room.

You're forgetting that Jack wasn't some idiot who got his head turned by some fluffy Barbie doll like Aribella. Like janet42 said, she had no substance and Jack saw that. Aribella had no common courtesy, manners or compassion. Jack saw her true colors and he was turned off. Bernice may not have been any beauty queen, but she was a sweet, kind woman who Jack could actually be friends with. He did the right thing by sticking up for her. Aribella was CRUEL and heartless to Bernice for no good reason.

Think of this! Chrissy was thin, hot body, attractive face...... BUT Chrissy would NEVER disrespect Bernice the way Aribella did. Chrissy had class, manners and compassion. So, TVFactFan and JSP, you can take your theory and STUFF IT.

Chrissy was a beautiful person inside and out. The same can NOT be said about that bitch Aribella.

Wonder why Berniece became LESS agressive after Arabella left? lol
