I agree about season 5. It's probably my favorite season and I really hope something is announced soon.

I hope the reason we haven't heard an announcement for season 5 is because of the season 4 mix up. Maybe they're delaying season 5 because they had to issue 2 versions of season 4 and they want to make sure season 5 is the unedited versions before they go forward.

I'm getting nervous that we haven't heard anything about season 5 yet. I hope they haven't given up on the series.

While seasons 2-4 were (imo) the best seasons of the series. I like seasons 5 and 6 too and I would be willing to buy them when and if they come out. I would buy seasons 7-9 too though I don't care for those seasons as much as the previous seasons.

I knew the season four edited DVD disaster would harm season five arriving to DVD on time, I knew it! I bought the season four the day and it came out and put Disc 1 in my player as soon as I got home. I didn't think anything was wrong until I saw that Rachel's line ("That is one stupid boy") in Surely You Joust about Waldo during the scene where he was trying to see the TV signal was missing because I remember seeing that line on ABC Family. My suspicions were confirmed when I saw the runtimes and Reginald VelJohnson's voice-over during the end credits.

My thoughts exactly...but I also did enjoy season 1. "Laura's First Date" from season 1 is one of my favorite episodes of the series.

The first 4 seasons were released in February of their release years..I have a really nasty feeling Warner may have dropped the series I got an uncomfortable feeling when they had to replace a lot of people's season 4 sets but I really didn't think that was going to affect future releases. My thought was that many people having bought season 4 to begin with, replacements aside, ws an extremely positive sign. But it looks like the replacement mess put the rest of the series dvd release possibilties in severe jeopardy..damn it! Warner just do MOD releases for the 5 remaining seasons in the Warner archive. Or put it all up on iTunes. I'm trying to go digital as much as I can so I'll gladly take it that way too. Hell, do what Nickelodeon just did and do an on demand streaming subscription app and slap FM on there along with the rest of Perfect Strangers, Step By Step, Head Of The Class and several other Warner shows. ill pay for several months of that at this point. I knew it, Warner is starting to slip back into their old ways of either stalling or abandoning shows altogether. They'd been doing MUCH better the last few years releasing things too.. Urgh.
