I've heard the show wasn't like this when it started back in the early 90s. IDK if that's true or not.

I used to like Jerry back when the show was still fresh. Now it's the same thing over and over.

My favorite talk shows were Jenny Jones and Ricki Lake (her 1st show).

It's true. I remember watching some early episodes and it was a civilized show in the beginning. At some point they figured out that they could get higher ratings with sleaze, so they switched formats.
