LOL
If you ever get to see The Ropers, Helen and Stanley moved into the rather posh, upper middle class neighbourhood of, Cheviot Hills, Los Angeles, which of course they don't belong in.

I seen it but when they returned to TC in season 5 Jack or Janet didn't ask them about their place and they didn't state if they had moved or was in still in Cheviot Hills

Yeah everything was going on so quick that they had to move the plot along, the producers just thought "bah bring in the Ropers the audience won't care where they've been".

I remember Helen Roper ( Audra Lindley ) saying "It's only twenty minutes to visit the kids !", meaning Jack, Janet, and Chrissy .

I'd hate to think of the Ropers moving away from Cheviot Hills . I'd rather remember the Ropers living where we last left them . The only place they should be is living next door to Jeffrey P. Brookes III ( Jeffrey Tambor ), Anne Brookes
( Patty McCormack ), and David Brookes ( Evan Cohen ) -- even if they "don't belong" there .

Janet bugged me in that episode. She had no right to offer Furley's place to strangers. That's breaking and entering. And on top of that she had the nerve to tell Furley that it was all his fault for coming home and asked him what was HE doing in his own bed?! WTF? He's the landlord, you don't talk to your landlord that way and offer someone else's his place. So what if he came home early? It was his apartment. The Ropers were trespassing and could have and should have been arrested.

The writers rushed this episode and didn't right a good story.
