sorry people, after doing 10 minutes of googling I found out that there is no answer.

BMW Sequel: We never got to find out what happened to Mr. Turner after he survived his motorcycle accident. A lot of fans want to know why that is and if we will ever find out what happened to Mr. Turner?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: Sometimes changes are made to a show that the network and or the producers don’t explain. It’s a bummer for the fans. I’m not sure if an explanation will ever be given. Hopefully there will be.

MORE RESEARCH YA'LL

MICHAEL JACOBS WORDS:

If all goes according to Boy Meets World creator Michael Jacobs’ plan, we will find out on the upcoming spin-off Girl Meets World. “If I get my way, you will find out what happened to Mr. Turner, and you will find out what happened to everybody,” he told EW during an interview for the annual EW reunions issue. “[Quinn] was one of the first people who got in touch with me after [Girl Meets World] was announced. And what it made me realize is not only does the audience, but the people who were on the show have a fondness for [the show]. So I will not answer your question…because I will answer the question on the series.”

He asks, however, for patience from returning fans. While everyone is understandably eager to see their favorite characters, he hopes the audience will grant them the time to introduce the new characters — like Cory’s daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). “Remember, it had to begin,” he says. “To the old audience: Bear with us. Be patient. You’ll love these [new characters] and then you’ll get to see everybody.”

I didnt remember them killing off Mr. Turner. I know he was in an accident but that was it. I think when Cory and Co. graduated high school there was a scene with Minkus saying something to the effect "Hello, Mr. Turner."

well these quotes by the actor himself and the creator of the show seem to hint that while Shawn did say he was going to be okay at the end of the episode, we never saw him again. not a plot hole but a slap in the face to fans who were waiting the next week to see what happens and instead the kids lives all just go on.

the Minkus line was probably just a joke, like how they poked fun at Morgan for being grounded all of season 2.

I seen that episode also and their absence was explained by them being on the other side of the School.

Season 5 wasn't very big with continuity. Like Frankie disappearing then reappearing as a thug again despite being reformed.

Hopefully GMW will help iron out those wrinkles.

Also, there seemed to be two Harleys. If you watch season 2, there was one Harley where he called Cory, Baboon. The other Harley didnt. I think you see him in the episode where Shawn was going to join Harley's group and he was going to smash Mr. Turner's bike with a bat.

good observation Mets82. I can't answer WHY but Danny McNulty played Harley in every episode except for one. maybe Danny wasn't available that day.

Thank you. When I watched the episode, I did a double take because that wasnt the same Harley. That also happened with Topanga's parents. I think there were 3 different sets of actors/actresses that played her parents.

I don't remember him dying so if he never did, I'd love to see him again on the new show.

God bless you always!!!

I really don't think it was ever really said that Mr. Turner died in the show. It was just left out there with no answers. I hope he does make an appearance in Girl Meets World as I always thought he was a very cool teacher and person.
