some forums ive seen have notifications for whenever somebody replies to a post you make


we should have something like this. just a thought ya'll.

We already have that option in the user control panel. In the control panel, click edit options. In the Messaging & Notification section, you can select your Default Thread Subscription Mode which includes email notification.

i don't mean email, i mean it shows up on the site, like next to your PMs

I belong to 2 other forums that have a very useful and interesting"quote notification" alert to tell you whenever anyone quotes anything that you have posted, and it shows up on your screen much like when you have a private message waiting for you here. This option is excellent because it gives you the chance to respond to the post that used your quote. This feature should seriously be considered and added to this site.
