I don't think it's as funny as it was.
Change is not bad, it has to occur but there was so much change last season, I feel it effected the show. Sheldon no longer goes nuts about his seat, no more knock knock knock. Each person has changed so much I think it took away some of what made it hilarious. I wondered if it was just me so last night I was asking my husband and he agreed. Today while at work we talked about it and everyone at the table during lunch said they felt the same way. Before last season I would laugh constantly, last season I may have laughed once or twice.

Pffttt it's the same show. Last night's episode had me laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee myself.
I think people look for reasons to find a show to not be funny |

1. Get rid of Emily
Couldn't agree more. The woman does not look right next to Truthipali (sic). I wish they would bring back Kate Miccuci and make her a regular on the show, and change her character a bit, and she would fit right in. The show to me has not lost its luster and the characters are more or less "growing up" as it were. I was thinking the last time I saw the show that the two lead characters still live in the same apartment together, although they are not gay, and over 40 (being 40 now is not like being 40, 40 years ago, but still.) Los Angeles is expensive for housing, but not that insane. They should be making decent money. I am sure that most professors and researchers working at USC and UCLA are not living as roommates. Sort of the opposite of "Friends" where they all had apartments in NYC and never worked, these guys work, but still live together. Also, do comic book stores exist? |
