The Keatons and Columbus Day...
Ironically...the show is set in Columbus, Ohio so Alex Keaton may root for the Blue Jackets, but what about another Columbus?
I can see Steven and Elyse Keaton comparing Christopher Columbus to Adolf Hitler, but Alex Keaton may see the bright side of Columbus...without him, there would be no America or other European Discoverers to seek-out The New World or something like that. Steven may tell Alex that Columbus killed many natives by smallpox...but when you travel, there's a gamble or that's what Alex would say. If there was a Columbus Day episode of "Family Ties"...how would it be? |
