Default Are you watching less Cable TV due to the emergence of these 3 things in the past cou

1. Digital TV.......Channels like Antenna TV and Me-TV has gave new life to classic TV which has decreased the need to depend on TV land and Nick@Nite for old tv classics

2. Netflix/Hulu.........Gives you the option to watch lots of tv shows and movies on your computer instead of depending on channels like HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax

3. Youtube............you have the option to watch anything you want which can stem from sports, tv, reality, etc.

In 2014 I have watched less cable in the evenings due to Antenna TV airing all the old sitcoms from the 70's and 80's. And if I am not watching Antenna TV I am on youtube watching a old video of something funny. I only watch cable TV on

Saturdays and Weekdays nights at 1am when I am about to go to sleep which has decreased from everyday like it was 10 years ago. How bout you?

i hardly watch cable tv anymore. I watch my dvd's. We are seriously considering of getting digital tv. Really, the only thing we watch on cable is baseball and football. I was told that in our area there is a channel that broadcasts most of the Detroit Tigers games which we now watch on Fox Sports Detroit on satillite. If that's the case I would give up cable/satillite in a heartbeat.
It is so overpriced.

Cool

I haven't watched cable TV in a couple of years because I'm unemployed and can't afford cable!

Don't worry, you're not missing much. Good luck on finding a job.

I watch channels like Antenna TV and ME-TV more than anything else. The main channels like ABC, FOX etc. do nothing for me. I may watch a couple of shows but thats it. I'd just rather watch a classic station with classic shows that I like more than anything else.

Oh No

I don't even watch cable...I'm even going to take my internet service Time Warner back to their company since they keep calling me asking "Where's my Money"? "Where's my Money"?...They might as well get Bill Cowher to my house and start whacking me before I give TWC their money!

I watch about the same amount as before. Not all the shows I watch can be seen over the internet or on antenna tv. If they were, I'd drop cable in a heartbeat. Also my husband likes all those sports channels so he'd want to keep it for that.

I have been watching less cable too. There is too much crap on cable, a waste of money. I love Me-TV and Antenna TV.

Watching a lot less cable but only because of Me-TV and Antenna TV.They have taken over. I'd say over 80 percent of what I watch on TV now is on those 2 channels. There are a few things we still watch on cable but not much. Still have zero interest in watchng television on a computer, and not into things like netflix etc. yet.

Most of the shows I watch are on the major networks but because I don't get good reception with a regular antenna, I have DIRECTV.
