1. Soak in a tub full of hot water.

2. Take a nap!

3. Drink some hot tea or something.

I either put on some Christian music and read, or lay in bed and practice flute. Practicing flute makes me feel very un-tense

I usually go fishing, the sound of the rippling water and the fresh air that relaxes me, or either I set infront of a campfire just watching the fire and looking up at the stars not worrying about anything that really gets me relaxed.

I like to read in a bubble bath. I also like to look up at the stars and just imagine what it'd be like to be up there in space. I think being an astronaut would be awesome.

MJFfan must be thinking, "You guys are a big help." lol. I imagine that MJFfan is in his house trying to relax, not a good location for fishing. He probably doesn't know how to play the flute, which would make practicing it a kind of tense experience. If he could take a nap he woudn't need to relax, he'd be relaxed. NYAngel is watching imaginary movies every morning at school. Is that activty listed in Georges "Leave no child behind" plan? Bootsy says to imagine how cool it would be to be an astronaut. I'll bet MJFfan never thought of that one for a relaxation exercise. Well everybody, keep them coming. It'll be fun to see what works. I'll try to think of some relaxation ideas too.

JOblair brought up a good point. To relax and take stress off of my back, I go through a pile of old papers from past school years and rip all the ones I didn't get an A or a 100% on. It actually really works too...well, for me at least.

I just watch TV or put on a DVD if I wanna relax. Another cool thing to do - particularly in the winter or if it's raining outside - is just put on some songs that remind you of summer and try'n put yourself back in a lazy, summery kinda mood.
If I'm really stressed though, the only thing that will sort me out again is sleep - and lots of it. A lot of people blame their jobs on stress but I reckon if they just tried to get a bit more sleep they'd be ok.

I know this will sound crazy but I relax by mowing the lawn! When I am tense or worried about something I just head outside and start mowing or working in the yard. Very theraputic! Of course I can't do this in the winter months so to relax I listen to my Beatles music while I clean the house.
