Jake's Journey (Graham Chapman, Hal Ashby 1988)
One of my personal holy grails is to find this pilot, written by (and starring) Monty Python's Graham Chapman in 1988. CBS didn't want it and shortly after, Graham Chapman died (and so did Hal Ashby). It's been forgotten ever since.
In "The best TV shows that never were" it's mentioned as one of the few pilots that should definately have been taken up. (A short clip, taken from that show, is on youtube.) A copy is at the Library of Congress but three copies are known to be in private hands... |
