Default were we supposed to believe that someone goofy like chrissy's cousin was a cop?

He looked scared of his own shadow and was supposed to be protecting the public? LOL

Yeah he should just stay at the station doing police paperwork.

Yeah, just another case of the weak writing in Season 4.

There are other mistakes or bloopers in that episode.

1. Jack & Chrissy left without paying their bill. That is so obvious.
2. When Jack & Chrissy were hiding out from a cop coming, they didn't have to hide out in there own apartment. They could have hid out in Larry's apartment, for example.
3. Jack shouldn't have bought Chrissy anything at the Regal Begal. Of course, his date would be wondering why he was buying anything for the girl at the next table.
Or better yet, Jack should have cancelled his date. But then there would be no rest of the episode.

I noticed this, too! But I just assumed Jack had an endless tab there....Jim knew what to do.

Like the goofy cop on Chips . Officer Arthur Grossman ( Grossie) ! He's funny for the show, but he's goofy and overweight, not believable that he really would be a cop!

Grossie was the stereotypical cop that spent more time at the donut shop than out patrolling!

And in reality I've seen cops who've put in enough time and are overweight, they're mostly seen controlling traffic or standing guard on movie sets when public filming is required.
