Default riffle man & other western classics

I always wonted to see riffle man movie. I heard they were going to remake into a TV series then they deiced not too. I think gun smoke movie would be awesome I don't really like it too much I seen most of them now but I heard its popular show I think if they made a movie it would make lots of money. I also wouldn't mind a bonanza

I chose "The good , the bad, and the ugly". I'd like to see any Clint Eastwood movie redone. He was my fav. Western movie star!!! It would be hard to find someone as good as he was to play in them though!

I doubt you'll be seeing any of his films being remade unless he's directly involved in the project. Then again, the best thing would be to leave well-enough alone. Movie remakes are rarely ever on par with the original although the remake of True Grit did receive very favorable reviews.

That's not considered a remake, it's another adaptation of the novel.

The 2010 version is more closer to the book.

First I've heard about it and I'm almost certain that I heard the term remake being used to describe it in at least one review. I will admit though that I haven't seen the new version so please enlighten me as to what is different about it other than the fact that Jeff Bridges wore the patch over his right eye while John Wayne did so over the left.

I don't think I've seen that one. I'll have to check it out on YouTube.

This article goes into it in more detail:

Regarding the remake vs an adaptation, it may be that some people refer to it as a remake but that's not really accurate.
