Default Are there great episodes in Season 6?

So far I've watched the Premiere and "Terri Makes Her Move". Didn't care for either very much. Does Season 6 pick up steam from here? Think I'll move on to Season 7 at this rate.

Oh yes. There are some great Season 6 episodes. There's one with Jeffrey Tambor from the Ropers in it, and Terri brings him home and Jack and Janet thinks he is a mental patient. There is another one where Jack pretends to be a doctor. And then there's the episode Up in the Air, where Jack is nervous about flying, so he takes a tranquilizer before he and Janet go to a party that they fly to, then he gets drunk at the party. Barry Williams appears in that episode. That one is one of many people's favourite episodes of Three's Company.

Yep, the party episode is one of my favorites. But the one with Tambor is also great. Very funny performance from him.

Some great episodes are "Eyewitness Blues," "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Professor Jack," "The Matchbreakers" (Larry in drag!), and "And Now Here's Jack."

However, this is the season where they start recycling plotlines from previous seasons, like "Paradise Lost" (the promise of a bigger, nicer apartment), "Hearts and Flowers" (Janet gets screwed over at her work), "Dates of Wrath" (Janet is jealous of Terri taking a guy she liked), and "Macho Man" (Jack's "manliness" is challenged at the Regal Beagle). Still, it's a fun season.

At least in Paradise Lost the premise where the roomates would be getting a bigger apartment was believable and the trio checked the apartment out first. It was also believable that Furley and Larry would miss them.

Not like that Season 4 episode where Jack takes the word of a complete stranger and the trio don't even check out the apartment. I suppose if they had there would be no episode since there was no apartment.

Yeah "Professor Jack" is a good one. Just watched it.

Another good one is when Jack gets a chance to show up on a talk show cooking segment but things take a turn for the worse.

I was expecting "Some of That Jazz" to be a totally crappy "very special episode", but it actually had a lot of funny moments.

Yeah that was the good thing about TC that they didn't feel the need to fall into the special episode syndrome.

So I'm nearly done with watching Season 6 and I have to say it's pretty good. Aside from the first two episodes which I thought were mediocre, it turns out the season is fairly solid.

Clearly the sex humor is being toned down, but that's okay because they still come up with funny ideas. Just goes to show Three's Company was a lot more than Jiggle TV.

I have to say out the six seasons I've viewed I believe Season 4 is the worst. Some good episodes that season, but the ones I thought were the dumbest took place that season. The show did fine in Seasons 5 and 6 without Suzanne.

I didn't like that chrissy bumps her head in the tub episode from season 4 and any episode that had Chrissy's father

To each their own I guess, as a kid I also didn't like the episodes with Chrissy's father but as for them being terrible I wouldn't say so since I've seen each episode many times I've gotten used to them.

But let us know what you think of season 7 which I still to this day I say has the single worst episode of the entire series. "Bob And Carol, And Terri And Larry"

Either Bob and carol episode or the one with Jack's father

"And Now Here's Jack" is my favorite episode of Season 6 so far. A good one where they're just trying to be funny and not trying to change the world.
