*Cheers Poems* - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi ya'll! I am in need of everyones help!I have a school project due and I have to have poems written by other people. I decided to do them on Cheers but where else would I find such a thing but Sitcoms Online! The poems don't have to rhyme or they can even be one line long my teacher doesn't care! I just need sme help ad I am in competition with my friend who loves The Division and she is getting poems from people in the division thread! Everybody likes a little competition!

SAMMY BOY

Sam, Sam, he's the man.
Runs the bar like no one can.
He loves spending time with his friends
Hoping that the fun never ends.
He loves taking a woman on a date.
Sam is the man you just can't hate.
Sam is really nice and fun.
Never a bad moment with him, not a one!

yeah i did especially like yours alot wingsfan,i have another poem for you to read,i don,t know if it is that good,but i really like writing poems so here is another one you can use if you want to

CHEERS CHEERS WHERE EVERYONE FITS IN

Their once was a comfortable cozy bar in the heart of becon street
where people from all stages and walks in life came here to meet
It was occupied by the stangest and quirckest group of people.
they were all very interesting and no one was a rotten apple.
Sam old man ran the bar,he was tall and handsome and a 1 friend
well old bar horses norm and cliff and frasier,and norm on sat drinking on his stool till the good times had to come to an end.
fraiser the psychiatrist kept the nerotics back on their right feet
and diane the intellectual girlfriend and barmaid of sam was on her feet all day and night untill she and sam said goodbye forever
well the sharp tounged barmaid carla tortelli cared for diane never
and was relived for eternity when diane left her sam at the alter.
alongside was coach sams right hand man in the very begining
unfortunitly he was not at cheers at the end of of it,s terrific ending still another young farm boy came along and cheers was still ahead as in it,s begining,and after sam came back he did happen to meet another very beautiful young busniess women
and began to chase her like another previous scholar woman
and this is the story of the perfect people and place to share and go where everyone is welcome to come and have fun and to drop all your hard troubles at the door and go where to the place we
all love where everybody knows your name and glad you came.

i hope you can use this as you want,i know that i am not the best at rhymaning anything,but i still hope that it does help your in your assignment,good luck thanks lol

I am so glad everyone deided to rply but so far I only ave 2 poems only if anyone wants to an people please write more I only need about 3 mor and pleaseignore what Mary M said I think she was hih hen she typed that in about Cheers! She is one f those Division freaks!!!If she says or types anything again just tell her that Nancy Mckeon died!! She will actually beleive it because her smart day is only on a thursday!!!

Sam And Diane

Sam was so macho, he loved all the girls
He loved to chase them, and give them a whirl
He was a bachelor, everyone said
He would never fall in love, he'd rather be dead
Always had women, the boys were amazed
But there was something missing in his distant gaze

Diane was a girl, finding her way in the world
She liked smart men, for her heart they stole
She was brilliant, everyone said
You won't believe all of the books she's read!
Classier than most, she was a shining star
But there was something she dreamt of from afar

Fate would intervene, and cupid shot his arrow
Sumner left Diane, to find a ring he could borrow
She waited with a gleam of love in her eye
After hours passed, she realized it was good-bye

Sam took notice, she was different from the rest
Diane noticed he was best of the best
They hid their feelings, they did not match
They looked for other people they could snatch

Time passed on, and the two grew fond
And realized that time was ticking on
They knew that their minds were telling them no
but their hearts were telling them to give it a go

Their friends said no, and Carla would cry
For if they were together, she would surely die
But their love soon grew, admiration strong
They realized that in each other's arms is where they belonged

Their love grew fast
But time soon passed
It was time for both of them to make a new start
Diane left Cheers, despite all of the years
And together they shed many tears

They left each other for different lives
But in the end, their love for another never dies
They may be apart, but the love in their hearts
Will never fade, and is always there to stay
