Oh, it was just a lame joke. This was what Quinn told the administrator before he took off with the cash - that he was going to "take care of the morning run."

I was about to when I asked that ....Yeah, Jack must be taking care of a very long morning run ..... I calculated that based what he was earning from the FPS etc , he stole the equivalent of almost 25years worth of salary ...... the Jack Quinn story is one of the most intriguing segments on UM

It's a intriguing segment for sure. I never was able to figure out if they caught him. I wonder if he's even still alive. Random fact, but I've been to that airport where Quinn abandoned his car numerous times. In fact, I'm headed there tonight and I'll be be retrieving my car from long term parking, lol. True story. |

Was Quinn ever captured? I know in the segment, they tracked him to Houston, Tx where he was living under his brother in law's name, but no update was ever given on if he was actually captured. Does anyone know?

Quinn's profile is still in the "Wanted" section on the UM website, so I'd assume he's never been found. If he's still alive, he would be 76 years old today.

The moral of the story-If your gonna rob a company of a 6 figure or 7 figure amount make sure you have an everyman like face that will blend into the crowd.

Gotta give it to Jack he covered his tracks and lived quietly on the run.
He must be a very disciplined man and probably lived a very simple life. Hell he even thought enough of his wife to leave behind 170K with the letter he left. Enough for her to maintain and or start anew life. She turned it into the cops though. 170K was a lot of money back then. I wonder if she ever regretted it? LOL. I love the mysteries where the bad guy actually gets away albeit not hurting or harming anyone. So you can guess some of my favorite segments includes DB Cooper, The Tunnel Robberies, and the guy who faked his death in a plane crash..among other popular scams where the bad guy seems to have got away. Moreover, someone on Reddit thinks they solved the crime: They think this is him... ![]() https://dailyvoice.com/maryland/mont...issues/839706/ Read the comments: https://unsolved.com/gallery/john-anthony-quinn/ |
