I accidently turned on the Ropers tonight and Helen makes a reference to Jack Tripper but he is never seen. I used to be the editor for the Ropers episode guide and here are my notes for the episode "Power Play"
NOTES (4) ADD NOTES Helen's sister Ethel makes her second appearance on the show. The Ropers Kitchen is shown for the first time in this episode. Helen Roper makes two references to Jack Tripper in the beginning of this episode This episode was based of the George & Mildred Episode: "The Unkindest Cut". ALLUSIONS (0) |

Was this the episode when Jeffrey Brooks was going to get a vasectomy? I might be thinking of the wrong episode.

I'm watching the episode now on Antenna TV and Antenna TV cut out one of Helen's References to Jack Tripper
When I first watched this episode it was a different version which included the Three's Company theme song in the closing credits. So that's why only 1 reference to Jack is seen on the Antenna TV version |
