Question does anybody watch PAX ??

Does anybody watch PAX TV? One of the few local channels where I live is a PAX, I do have to admit ( maybe its a good thing to us viewers but bad for PAX ) there is a lack of local commericlas there. Wonder how they are doing?

I do know that PAX doesnt like the word "reruns" as they perfer "family entertainment"> Once on the air I talked about them air Heres Lucy reruns only to have PAX call me up and chew me out about saying they air reruns.

I wonder if PAX would have done better if they began on cable rather than over the air tv. Most of the channels they are on ( in DC for example ) are channels that never had much of an audience in the first place.

Whether they like it or not, Pax shows reruns. Their station is located in the city where I live and as far as I know, they've always been on cable.

NBC bought a large piece of PAX a year or two ago, so they're probably safe for awhile. NBC wants to use it to "repurpose" some of their shows, which is why we see "Weakest Link" reruns on PAX. Supposedly, "Crossing Jordan" will be rerun on PAX soon, too. Also, NBC has used PAX's "Mysterious Ways" as a summer replacement series for the past couple of years, and they cleared the way for PAX to produce the "The Ponderosa", a prequel to NBC's old "Bonanza" series.

I was a frequent viewer of PAX when they aired "Here's Lucy" (back in the fall of 1998). But when they pulled out "Here's Lucy" from their daily schedule that was when I stopped watching the channel itself. I lost interest thereafter and I haven't watched it since.

As soon as they stopped airing The Hogan Family, I stopped watching. The channel is garbage!

Cool

I don't watch PAX. I think it's so boring.

I used to watch it when Highway to Heaven and Life Goes on aired. Corky really made that show run smooth. I mean ratings bonanza here. A kid with Down's Syndrone that was on a TV show and became a main character. The show did OK, but I wanted to see more seasons.

Highway to Heaven came on years back. I believe it no longer airs but I'll check around. I'd catch it now and then.

I'm watching Cheers right now and I gotta tell you it seems bland. Maybe I just have to watch more shows; I don't know.

OTOH I got a real Buzz during the Family Ties shows; I really enjoy those.

Back on topic. I don't regularly watch PAX, but I could be persuaded.
