Default Angus Lennie 1930-2014

The actor Angus Lennie, famous for his role as Steve McQueen's sidekick Archibald Ives in the classic film The Great Escape, has died in a London nursing home aged 84. He also played Scottish chef Shughie McFee in the television soap opera "Crossroads",which ran from 1964-88. It is regrettable that he did not live to see the result of the independence referendum in two days' time, which as I speak is still resting on a knife edge.http://youtu.be/JY1J7rC7h44

Not many left from The Great Escape. I know David McCallum is still living, not sure about Gordon Jackson or the ones that played the Germans.

In the last couple of months, three actors from the Great Escape have now passed.
James Garner and Richard Attenbourough are the other 2.

Who was that American actor that dressed up as a German during the escape? I think he was supposed to be british or Canadian for the movie. I saw him in all kinds of tv shows during the 60s-70s.
