did anyone ever have a root canal? i've waited like 2 months for an authorization and now the time has come... thursday. my little sis got one so i think if she got it i can...but has anyone had one? did they numb you first or did you not want the shot? and most important....DID IT HURT????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??? THANX...

I have had several root canals . So take my word for it. Get the shot!

did it hurt w/ the shot? was it bloody? omg...i'll ask em to put me to sleep. no i'll refuse to go in there and my dad will have to drag me in and then i'll fake my knee getting injured and i don't have to get it!...or maybe not.

my 8 year old sister got one a few months ago. She said it didn't hurt that bad, but to get the shot

nope, i dont even have any cavities. my 6 year old cousin went thro one, i doubt it will hurt too much! im worried about these gosh darn braces! april 13th is the deciding day do i get them? or not?

*hides and never wants to come out*

omg...don't worry. i meant to reply to your other post about em.
it's not that painful. my orthodonics stopped tightening em after a while, but i had a tooth that was like sideways, kinda and he had to put one of those wires and it was painful. and i had to have a tongue guard...it went on the roof of your mouth and had a place for the wires to go through (at the end). i got mine off like 2 months ago and it was worth, all 2 years and a previous year a couple of years ago!

YES! GET THE SHOT!!! My dad got it without the shot and he said it hurt so much and he almost passed out! So, the shot is ALOT less painful than without the shot!

ow...lol...i didn't get it..i had to get my cavaties done and so i get the joy of getting a root canal during spring break..oh foyous event.
