Default How do You Use the Internet?

I'm used to desktop computers and can tolerate a laptop if it has a mouse. I've tried using some of my family's Ipads but hated them, they're so hard to navigate and there's nowhere to scroll down.

when I first saw the title of this thread I thought you were asking how to get online!!!!!!!

Anyway, I put desktop but only because I've only used a laptop twice and I've never used either of the other 2 methods.

Desktop. I am old school, and this is what I learned on and it is what it is!! LOL!! I'm not that keen on modern technology, and my hubby works labor type work so he NEVER even uses a computer at all . Not even for socializing. We only use cell phones for emergencies and when we travel!

I have been thinking about getting a lap top though, just to save space. Get rid of this old computer desk, and with a laptop I could post from anywhere in the house!

I use a desktop computer.

A laptop would be pointless as I would have to get so close to it and be hunched over with it in my lap.

I can't use iphones, ipads, tablets, etc. to get online. I can't see anything on those devices.

You can use the lap top like I do, put it on a table and have it in front of you while you sit on the couch lol

All I have is a desktop computer. I'm happy with it. I have no need for the other stuff. I'm definitely old school too.

I use a desktop computer.

Oh, and another thing: I always remain logged in on this site, and any other site I go to, because I find it easier than manually signing in. But don't worry, because I still go to bed and leave the house from time-to-time.

I use my desktop computer all of the time. I like my large wide screen monitor. I have tried laptops and I Pads but I'm not comfortable with anything other than my trusty desktop. I know that in the near future desktops will be obsolete but then so will I .

I use both but I like my desktop best, it's faster & easier than my hp laptop with windows 8. They keep trying to get me to upgrade to 8.1 but I'm afraid it will be even worse than windows 8. Has anyone tried the 8.1 upgrade?

Same here. In my case hopelessly old school!

I use my iPad. It's pretty much my computer and does about 85% of what my desktop did. I can live pretty much without the other 15%. Any important files I save to my work computer and then transfer to a DVD. If I need to print something-usually 2-3 times a month I use my work printer. 99.9999% of the time I only need to print in B&W.
