Default Remember when we all watched this episode for the first time and wondered...........

WHERE THE HELL IS JACK, JANET, and CHRISSY??? LOL

The episode Moving On which is in the TC syndication package as a TC ep but was actually the first episode of the Ropers LOL

I was so confused when I watched this years ago as a 12 year old

Was it an episode of Three's Company or a pilot episode of The Ropers? Either way, the kids should have been in that episode.

BOTH.

1, It's included in the TC syndication package because the Ropers return back to their original home briefly

2. It was the 1st of 6 episodes of the Ropers spinoff that aired on ABC until the season 3 finale of Three;s company

I hated the Ropers snobby neighbor Jeffrey. And his red headed son was kinda annoying.
I wished the Ropers never left. I thought they were funny. Mr. Furley was funny too, but he was way too goofy. I'd rather have Helen and Stanley.

Watching it in reruns I didn't pay much mind too it I just assumed it was just another TC episode, it also didn't help that this episode along with the other Roper episode have the TC intro/outros for syndication.

But looking back years later I am wondering why two The Ropers episodes are aired in TC's syndication package?

Because

1. The Ropers appeared at their TC apt in episode 1 of the Ropers

2. The Trio visits the Ropers at their new place

For some reason I find the Ropers funnier now than I did first run!

When the Ropers left TC and had their own show, I was disappointed in it, seeing it again, I think it has it's funny moments!

I never realized what a hot wife Jeffrey had when I was watching The Ropers decades ago. Nice looking woman!
