Could there have been a trial run on a Season 6...??? Would it have worked? I have always believed that maybe 6 episodes should have been ordered as a test run to see on the ratings would have been.

If there had been a sixth season of Charlie's Angels, I would imagine Jaclyn Smith leaving the show and her character (Kelly Garrett) dying from the gunshot she suffered at the end of the fifth season.

IMO... no.

It was all about ratings, and the low ratings are what killed the show. By the 4th season viewership was dwindling. By the 5th season the formula was old and stale. Also, there were plenty of other tv shows during that time that featured beautiful women.

I saw all 5 seasons and I did like Tanya Roberts character. Tanya seemed to meld a little better with Jackyn and Kris than Shelly Hack.

I never even watch the Julie episodes until syndication. The show wasn't the same after sabrina left.

Same here. Although I think Shelley Hack got better as she progressed. I just started watching them again after not seeing them in over 20 years. The last few episodes of season 4 are really not that bad.
