That article has a lot of good info in it, but it's almost three years old and apparently hasn't turned up any leads in Holly Piirainen's murder. (I found another article written about 10 months later, hoping it would have more info, but it had less than the one linked above, mentioned Pouliot too, but also mentioned Stanger again.)
I wonder why they say Pouliot is not a suspect nor a person of interest in the case, yet they name him, have a great big pic of him set up at the press conference, say they have evidence found at the scene where Holly's body was found that is a conclusive link to Pouliot, and they want people who know where Pouliot was and what he was doing on the day of the murder to call in with that information. Why are they holding back info on the specific item of "conclusive" evidence on a 21 year old case? The "non" suspect has been dead for 11 years. It's not like he's a flight risk. |
