I am guessing this horrible episode was a indirect reference to the movie............
GHOST BUSTERS
 The episode "A Haunting We Will Go" A Halloween type episode that aired in September of 1984 with Arnold and Sam inside a Ghost House being scared by some old fool. And then we see Arnold and Sam with Ghost Busters outfits on. Who the f*ck wrote this episode? This sh*t was AWFUL |

Yeah it was the 1984 season 7 premier I even remember the TV Guide ad for it with Arnold and Sam in GB getup.
It was extremely terrible that it makes the current kiddie stuff on the Disney channel look like high art. |
