The season before Maude debuted on CBS. All this time I thought he only appeared on AITF in the Maude Pilot but not as a Cop in season 2 of AITF

Well, what happened in the episode that he was in? What was it all about? Because right now, I have no memory of "Walter Findlay" actor being on AIIF. It might help if you described the episode.

Archie witness a mugging and the cop who came to the house was Bill Macy

The Maude pilot was 5 episodes later

Thank you. I think I remember now. I'm thinking this was the episode where Archie didn't want to be a witness because he thought the crime might be mafia related.
