Yes, you are correct. It is the episode where Gilligan gets adopted by the Howells after saving Lovey from being crushed by a boulder.

'My Fair Gilligan'.
There's a certain sadness in this scene because Gilligan is watching them have fun through the window of the Howells' hut. He feels sad and lonely because he wants to hang out with them, but at the same time he doesn't want to hurt the Howells' feelings. I guess the underlying message is, money doesn't bring you happiness and it can't buy you true friendship. |
