Their releasing a "Mama's Favorites" for season 3. I can't find any info about which episodes will be on this or if Vicki will do episode introductions.

Release date says Sept. 9 on amazon .

That's interesting. The "Best of" sets for seasons 1 and 2 must have sold pretty well, although I can't really see settling for half a loaf when you can have the entire season for a few bucks more.

Checked on the CDImports web site and they give details of the episodes included. They are: Soup to Nuts, Cats Meow, Steal One, Pearl Two, Where Theres Smoke, Birthright and It Takes Two to Watusi.

No information about whether Vicki Lawrence does intros for each episode as on Season 1 and 2 favorites Sets.

My personal favorites from Season 3 (in chronological order, not order of favorites) are:
* Farewell, Frannie
* Where There's a Will
* The Love Letter
* An Ill Wind [one of my favorites from the entire series]

I haven't seen a lot of the episodes from later in season 3 in ages.
