Didn't the producers of "Designing Women" fire Delta Burke? Lynn Redgrave from "House Calls"?

Yes, I believe Delta was fired from Designing Women. I don't know about Lynn Redgrave.

Yes, Delta Burke was fired from "DW" after months of tension between Delta and the producers (Harry Thomason and Linda Bloodworth-Thomason) and a feud with co-star Dixie Carter.

I thought John Amos quit the show? But I guess I'm mistaken. Yes Lynn Redgrave was fired from House Calls (she sued the producers over it but I don't remember if she won), she said she was fired because she wanted to breastfeed her baby son on set and the producers didn't like it at all. The producers if I remember said she was fired because she was difficult to work with.

Brett Butler from Grace Under Fire
Originally meant to be a 22 episode fifth season, the show was cancelled 14 episodes into production because of Brett's behaviour

She was an alcoholic who had run in's with the law and had a few trips to rehab throughout the show's run. She flashed at the young actor who played her son, which led to the boy's mother removing him from the show. Rumor has it, during the filming of the final episode, an exec from the network came down unannounced and witnessed Brett swearing and verabally abusing the live studio audience. This was meant to of led to it's cancellation.
