OK what new shows do you plan to sample this fall?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

on ABC I plan to sample

1. Selfie-9/30
2. Manhattan Love Story-9/30
3. Blackish......9/24
4. Cristela.....10/10

On NBC I plan to sample

1. Marry Me-10/14

Fox

NOTHING

CBS

NOTHING

I don't ever recall wanting to watch this many new shows at the start of a new TV season. Total of 5. wow

The fall shows look pretty uninspiring. I'll check out Marry Me, Selfie, and Mulaney because I like the people involved in them but I don't have a huge amount of confidence in them right now. Maybe The Flash on The CW because I heard it's really good. And maybe Gotham on FOX if it's good. That's probably it unless I hear really good buzz on another show.

There's a handful of stuff I'm looking forward to midseason - Fresh Off the Boat, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Galavant (which looks completely insane in the best ways).

It's a new fox show coming on called "Last Man on earth" but I don't think it's until the spring

How to Get Away With Murder has a lot of pressure to perform since it's airing right after scandal. We will see what happens

I will definitely check out "A To Z" and possibly "The McCarthys" as well. Otherwise, this fall schedule as far as sitcoms go looks very weak. My picks for the first show to be cancelled will be one of either "Selfie", "Cristela", or "Black-ish".

Oh yeah, that one sounds interesting too. It really seems like the networks are holding the best stuff for midseason this year...
